Beginning Stained Glass
You will learn the basics of crafting with glass. The foundation for all future glass working starts here. Step by step instruction is what you get in this class. It’s easy and you’ll make a small window panel as your first project. |
Bevel Suncatchers
Make a beveled suncatcher. This is a great introduction to Stained Glass, a great way to see if you like stained glass. You'll take tour piece home with you! All materials included. Children 12 and up are welcome. |
Casting Glass Boxes
Cast a glass box and lid from frit using Colour de Verre reusable molds. Students will learn how to prime molds, create frit mixtures, and fill and fire molds. Advanced variations will be discussed. No glass cutting necessary. Students will complete the class with the knowledge necessary to make additional boxes. |
Dream Catcher - Made from Your Scrap Glass!
Bring color to your windows or Garden with this striking sculpture. Got boxes and buckets of SCRAP and don’t know what to do with it? Come to Peepers and see the INDOOR/OUTDOOR dream catcher we made with our scrap. You’ll learn to use Jax Brown Patina, work with brass and copper, reinforce a project, use nuggets, plate glass for dimension and more. All you need to bring is pre-foiled glass scrap; and your solder and tools. We will supply the rest. |
Flat Panel Lamp Shade
Learn the steps needed to build and assemble a flat panel lamp shad-start to finish. Prior stained glass experience required. |
Frame Your Panel In Zinc
We'll teach you how to frame your panel with zinc came. Space is limited. Bring all your soldering gear, supplies and a panel to frame. |
Fused Bowl Class
Create a beautiful bowl, or dish. Students will create a glass bowl to be fired into a disk, then placed onto a mold (there will be several to choose from). Let your creative side go wild! You can use glass frit, stringers and pieces to decorate your project. You'll choose from one of the molds to create the shape for your project. The bowl will be fired and available for pickup in a week or two. |

Get Fired Up!
Take your glass fusing skills up a notch in this in-depth workshop. Go beyond basic and explore a variety of techniques for using fusible materials. During the hands-on portion of the class, students will work independently to build and fire, two projects that demonstrate fusing, slumping, and draping. During the lecture portion of the class, learn the advantages and disadvantages of using various items like fiber paper, fiber board, ceramic molds and stainless steel forms. Students will leave class with several projects and a new level of understanding and confidence. You’ll be primed and ready to load your own kiln and turn up the heat. Last night of class is for finishing and tweaking both projects. |
Hot Stuff!!!
Learn the fundamentals of fusing. Quickly create a glass tile and create an additional project such as a night-lite. Both of these projects will be taken to a full fuse. We will also create a piece that will be tack fused and then slumped into a square or round dish. We will supply the tools, molds, instruction and kiln time. You will provide the creativity and supplies. The projects will be fired after class and you will return after a few days to pick up the final project. |
Intermediate Beads
Build on your beginning skills with lots of hints and demonstrations. Instructor will present more advanced techniques and lots of practical information.
Basic bead making knowledge required. Bring your tools. Bead Rod and materials will be supplied.

Intermediate Stained Glass
You will expand and polish your stained glass skills. Attendance at a beginning class or prior stained glass experience is required.

Intro to Fusing
You will learn basic glass fusing techniques. We'll cover glass selection, construction and cow compatibility. You will make one fused and slumped plate and another fired piece such as a sun catcher, night light or pendant. |
Jewelry
Think about last minute gifts for someone special. Create beautiful fused glass pendants using a variety of glass including dichroic. Students will cut design and kiln fire pendants and earrings, bracelets and pins. No experience required, children 10 and up are welcome. |
Lead Came
In this new class you’ll learn the technique of lead came. We begin with pattern preparation, then cutting the lead came, assembling, soldering through cementing and final clean up. Beginning Stained Glass required for entry. Pattern provided. |
Learn to Cut Glass
Learn to cut accurately while you learn to follow the pattern lines. We'll teach you how to cut curves, inside and out. We'll show how to use running pliers and breaking pliers to make difficult cuts easier. We'll also show you how to use a circle cutter to make perfect circles easy. This class is perfect for fusers, and anyone who is struggling with cutting glass. |
Mosaic
Learn the basics of applied mosaic while you create a beautiful mosaic design in an 8 ½” square wooden base. You’ll learn to use mosaic nippers to create your design. Grouting will need to be done at home. A demonstration of grouting will be shown by the instructor, instructional handouts will be provided. |
Mosaic Madness
In this 2 session workshop you will learn techniques for direct mosaics, using scrap glass, nuggets, glass tiles, adhesive and grout. Bring something to cover in glass- a table, flower pot, bird house etc. Skill

Mosaic Mirror
Learn the traditional mosaic techniques. We will be making a 10” square project, with a choice of one of three patterns. All materials included. If you have a favorite piece of glass that you want to use, bring it to class. Bring your tools if you have them. |
Mother's Day Fusing
Take this class with your Mom, sister, friend or child; you’ll have fun making pendants, ear rings, or pins. Expect to make 3 pendants or pins, and a pair of earrings. Fee includes materials and kiln firing. Dichro glass available for an additional fee. |

Workshop is great for the person who needs help on a project. Come use the shop space and glass grinders to work on any project. Reservations and pre-payment is required to ensure enough staff is available to help with your specific needs. |

This is a great time to work on your project (lead or foil) within a structured studio environment with access to many tools and an experienced instructor. |

You can use pre-cut bases (or cut your own) to make ornaments, jewelry, and nightlights. Make as many as you like. Bases and kits are available during class. Tool use and glue are included as well as limited scrap glass. |
Patio Stone
This four hour class teaches the skills necessary to complete a patio stone. Topics of instruction include pattern preparation, glass cutting, mold preparation, pouring cement and cleanup of the finished stone. Tool use will be provided for each student. Cement will be used, so projects may be picked up the next day. |
Reproduction Lamps
This class is intended for the serious glass artist, no feint of heart allowed. You will learn how to use glass to its fullest. Shading and highlighting techniques will be demonstrated so you can emphasize design. Laminating will be discussed so you can add realism and depth to your lamp) a procedure done Tiffany himself). Reinforcing with wire and brass will be done to ensure strength. This class will challenge and improve your skills and creativity. When finished, you will have a work of art that can be passed on for generations. Prior to class (minimum of 10 days), students must have picked out a lamp design to make sure that all components are on hand to help avoid delays. You can plan on having homework to complete your lamp, but it will be worth the aggravation! |
Santa’s Cookie Plate
Make a cookie plate as unique as the man himself. Your “kids” will love to fill the plate with cookies to leave out with a glass of milk to thank Santa. You will choose one pattern out of the three to cut, fit, and decorate. We will fuse it and slump it. You’ll listen to all the compliments you’ll receive! Kits available. |
Sodering Clinic
Bring a copper foiled project ready for soldering, your soldering iron, solder and flux. We will give you instruction technique as well as problem solving. Pre-registration is required. |

Soldering- bring foiled glass, flux and solder as well as your soldering iron. We will be giving lots of tips and information on how to improve your soldering as well as how to care for your iron. |

Edging. We will show how to use ball chain, twisted wire, lead came, how to cut larger sizes of zinc and how to use handy hangers. Demo only, information handout provided. |

We will discuss plating, shading effects, and how to cut a perfect circle. Lots of time will be allowed for questions. |

Tiffany Style Lamp Class- the Odyssey Method
This is the ultimate stained glass project. We will help you select the perfect glass for your shade as well as teach you the steps and techniques used to create a beautiful work of art. Class meets 6 times over a 7 week period, allowing students more time to complete their lamps. Cutting and soldering skills required. Please choose mold before first night of class. Student will rent molds for this class. |

Beginning Stained Glass Snowflakes
No experience is required to these holiday gifts underway. Students will use bevels, precut glass shapes, iridized and textured glass to make a stained glass snowflake. You will learn the basics of foiling and soldering and will leave with a finished project. All materials and the use of our tools is included. There will be several patterns to choose from and a great variety of glass. Open to all, 15 and up. |
Fused Frit and Stringer Snowflakes
Come to our studio to get your Holiday gift-giving underway! You’ll make two fused glass snowflakes while learning the basics of fused glass and glass cutting. This is a great class for the beginner as well as the time starved artist. Students will use frit, stringers, iridized and dichroic glass to decorate their snowflakes. We’ll drill a hole in your snowflakes for hanging before you pick them up. All materials included. Fired projects will be available the week after class. |
